This is a delightful family run hotel with a great atmosphere and warm comfortable surroundings. A major refurbishment was completed in 2003 of bedrooms and the main gathering place, The Kiln Lounge. The hotel is just 20 minutes drive from Inverness, and just 5 minutes from Inverness Airport. The Covenanters is renowned for its variety of good food cooked using local produce. The Kiln Lounge Bar, situated in the 'mill section' of the building, offers an extensive menu. The Eren Restaurant provides a more formal dining atmosphere. The original part of the Inn was built in the 17th century and was the Mill and Brewhouse for the people of the area. Additions over the last 20 years have included a conservatory, 14 bedrooms and additional restaurant. Ground floor throughout. Large car park with beer garden. The lobby area is medium in size but welcoming. Information about local tourist attractions and events is available. A (non smoking) conservatory is accessed from the lobby.
